What the first month of working together looks like.

Week by week: what I do, what I need from you, and what you have at the end of it. Plus what it costs, and how to stop.

The first month is one complete piece of work. In week one I get to know your business, and you and I pick the one thing to do. In weeks two and three I make it. In week four I teach your staff to use it. At the end of the month, you and I look at what worked and pick the next thing. Here is each part in more detail.

Before the first month

It begins with a free call. You tell me what’s going on in the business; I ask questions and tell you plainly whether working by the month makes sense for you. If it doesn’t, I’ll say so.

If you go ahead, I’ll ask for three things:

  • Access to the accounts involved, in your company’s name: the website, your ChatGPT or Claude workspace, your design files. Everything I build stays in your accounts.
  • What you already have: logo files, old brochures, price lists, a few quotes and emails you were happy with.
  • One person on your side who will use what I build. Often that’s you.

Week 1: getting to know you

I talk with you and with the people who do the work. I look at what your customers actually see: your website, your posts, your quotes, the sign on the door. Then you and I pick the month’s one big thing and agree what “done” means and who will use it.

The one big thing might be your first AI workflow, a set of marketing materials, or a page of your website. It’s chosen because it matters now, not because it’s next on a list.

Weeks 2 and 3: making it

I make it and I finish it. Finished means ready to use: the workflow runs on real work, the materials are ready to print, the page is live.

Alongside the big thing, send me small jobs and questions whenever they come up. Fix this flyer. Resize this post. Should I answer this client like this?

Week 4: teaching it

I teach the people who will use it, on their own work, and leave a one-page guide. For an AI workflow, the guide covers how to start, what to put in, what to check and what to do when it goes wrong. For brand materials, it says which file is for what, and the few rules that keep everything right.

End of the month: looking back

You and I look at what got used and what didn’t, and pick next month’s one thing. If you have a lot to do, it spreads over a few months, and each month you get something complete. Taking a brand from its positioning to a live website usually takes three or four months.

Cost, time and stopping

  • Standard: $3,495 CAD a month plus tax. About 20 hours, half a day a week, with a check-in every two weeks.
  • Priority: $5,495 CAD a month plus tax. About 32 hours, a full day a week, with a check-in every week.

Both plans cover the same work. Priority gives the same month more of my time and more room for small jobs. Third-party costs are separate: software, ads, printing, and the AI subscriptions on your own accounts, which run roughly US$20–200 a month and which you pay the platforms directly.

You can do just one month. The first month is complete on its own, and it’s enough to know whether this works for you. To pause or stop, tell me before the next month starts.

The pricing page shows which plan is open right now. When you’re ready, book a free call.
