Zun Yue is a Chinese senior residence in Scarborough, Toronto. It has little to say, and says it quietly: a culture its residents know, and a place to settle. The identity is three things — a brush wordmark, a round seal and a one-line motto. We put them in order as a one-page guideline, then carried them into the project presentation, a set of Xiaohongshu cover templates and the leaflet.

01Wordmark
Three characters,
one breath of ink.
The name runs top to bottom, the brush pressing from the first stroke of 尊 to the last of 府, with a small seal at the foot as a signature — a scroll that has been signed. The Chinese name is the mark; there is no separate symbol.

02Seal
One round seal,
three inks.
Fine strokes set 尊, 悦 and 府 inside a circle, each bending to follow the rim. The guideline gives it three inks: vermilion as the primary, ink for one-colour work, and a greenish gold that the leaflet uses. Paper white, #F2EFE9, is the ground under all of it.

03Motto
Ten characters
about time.
The years have yet to write on this place, and already it is home. The guideline sets the motto as one line of hand-lettered characters, spaced wide so it reads slowly; on the deck’s cover it sits directly under the wordmark.
04Presentation, leaflet, Xiaohongshu
One frame,
one thought.
The project presentation keeps the guideline’s paper and brush; its cover carries only the wordmark, the motto and the English name over a wash of champagne light. The leaflet’s cover switches to the gold seal, taking the identity into the warmer register of print. The Xiaohongshu covers are templates built to be reused: a black tab with small gold capitals, a serif title, a fine gold frame, the round seal in the corner.
