Sambrow is a brow studio. In 2020 we gave it an identity that starts from a single curve: two strokes that make an S and the sweep of a brow, held in an open circle, above a fine, wide-spaced wordmark and the studio’s own line — Blossom into a new you. Three colours went with it, and from there it went onto cards, letterhead, posters and social posts.

01Identity
One curve,
read two ways.
Read it as a letter and it is an S; read it as a face and it is the arch of a brow. The ring breaks where the strokes pass through it, so the mark never looks stamped. The wordmark is a fine, high-contrast serif set wide; the line beneath it is a plain sans, so the two never compete.

02Colour
Clay, sea
and salt.
The colour page of the VI set each colour beside a picture: rust beside wet clay, Aegean beside a sea inlet seen from the air, bone beside spilled salt. Rust gives the warmth, Aegean the depth, and bone is the quiet ground the other two stand on.

03Stationery
Small things,
set with care.
The letterhead keeps the signature small at the head and leaves the text room to breathe; its back is given over to the curved fields. The card is white on the front, with the symbol and wordmark side by side; Aegean on the back, with the signature centred. The names and details on the original sheets were placeholders, shown here as grey rules.
04Posters & social
Never underestimate
a well-designed brow.
The posters take their voice from the studio’s own line: “Never underestimate the transformational power of a pair of well-designed brows.” The VI hung three portrait sheets in a row — a photograph, the line, the symbol. The photograph was stock, so only the other two are re-set here; the social posts follow in the same colours.
