Power Voice — 唱享北美 — is a vocal competition open to singers from twelve up, staged by St. Marlyn Group with the Canada China Youth Art Association. Its Toronto grand finals and St. Marlyn’s concert took place on November 9, 2025, at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts. What the audience saw and held — the stage screen and backdrop, the posters, the invitation, the programme — came from us. Here they are redrawn as one system: a pulse of gold on emerald, and a colour for each of the five groups.

01The pulse
A voice,
drawn in light.
Sixty-four upright bars, swelling at the middle and quiet at the ends: from the back row it reads as a level meter, up close as a pattern. Emerald and gold come from the event’s own 2025 materials; the stock microphone and the glitter are gone. The pulse is drawn, not sampled — it is not a recording.

02Five groups
Five groups,
five colours.
The competition split its singers into five groups, and the names already carried colour: Crimson Beats, Azure Harmony, Golden Rhythm, Emerald Echo, Violet Vibes. Each gets its own field and its own shape of pulse, so a group can be found at a glance — on the screen or in the programme.
03The stage
Made to be read
from the back row.
On stage the type gets big and the words get few: the name, the date, the city. The pulse runs the full width of the screen and the backdrop, so it still reads with a singer standing in front of it.

04The programme
The finals and the concert,
in one programme.
The day had two parts, the Toronto grand finals and St. Marlyn’s concert, and the programme gives each its own page: the five groups on the left, the concert’s ten songs on the right in running order, numbered so the audience can follow along. Songs and order are taken from the 2025 programme.

05Poster & invitation
The same pulse,
turned down low.
The poster gives the name the top half and sets the pulse beneath it. The invitation, for press and guests, goes quiet: an ivory card, a fine gold line, the date and the place.
