Look twice.
The name wears glasses.

A studio study, made without a client: a name and a wordmark for an imagined optical shop. OUT is set heavy and closed; LOOK is drawn in a single fine line — and its two Os, joined by a bridge, are a pair of glasses you read before you notice them.

01The wordmark
Heavy,
then light.
The two halves speak in opposite voices. OUT is solid and compact, its first O cut open at the top; LOOK keeps one line weight from end to end, so the bridge between the Os is as heavy as the frames and the pair reads as a single object. OPTICAL SHOP is set in condensed capitals, spaced out to the full width of the name.
- 1The first O is cut open at the top; OUT stays a solid, heavy block.
- 2Frames and bridge share one weight, so the two Os become one pair.
- 3OPTICAL SHOP in condensed caps, tracked to the width of the name.
02Shopfront
On the street,
still a pair of glasses.
The study put the name where an optical shop lives: a black fascia over a glass front, the wordmark in white, two downlights in the soffit below. From across the street the fine line of LOOK still holds, and the glasses are the first thing you see.
03Box and case
A black box,
a name in gold.
The gift box is matte black with the wordmark in gold foil on the lid — the only place the identity uses colour at all. Open the case and the name returns to black, printed small on a cream lining, just above where the lenses rest.

Three formats,
one view.
The study’s posts set the white wordmark over wide landscapes — an outlook, quite literally. Those were stock photographs and are not shown here; the frames keep the placement and swap the picture for a quiet horizon at dusk.
