- A six-page logo proposal
HER LEAGUE (华羽国际女性联盟) is a women’s alliance. In January 2020 we proposed its identity: a hummingbird drawn in a few tapering lines, an English signature carrying the line KISS THE SKY, a Chinese signature with the full name, a colour specification, three shades of purple to choose from, and app-icon studies.

01The symbol
Wing, body and tail
in a handful of strokes.
The bird is drawn, not illustrated: each stroke swells and thins like a pen line, and the gaps between them do the rest — the second wing, the throat, the turn of the tail. At a distance it is one shape; up close it reads like handwriting.

02Signatures
In English, a line;
in Chinese, the full name.
Under the bird, HER LEAGUE is set in widely spaced classical serif capitals. The English signature adds KISS THE SKY in a light sans beneath; the Chinese one puts the full name, 华羽国际女性联盟, in the same place at the same width. Both come in purple on white and white on purple.
03Colour
One purple,
in three shades.
The specification names one purple, with white and a dark grey. Another page set the English signature in three shades — the specified violet, a deeper purple and one leaning toward magenta — so the client could compare them side by side.

Specified values are from the proposal, with the grey’s RGB corrected to match its HEX. The second and third purples are sampled from the proposal page.
04App icon
Small enough
for an app icon.
The last page put the bird alone in a rounded square, one in each shade, then on a phone screen. Here the three icons are set large, and again at the sizes a phone actually shows.
