Goose KTV is a karaoke lounge in Scarborough, Toronto. It came to us in 2021 with a yellow brush-script logo and left with a symbol that can stand on its own — a goose whose neck and body draw a musical note — in a gold and a neon finish. The mark went straight to work on two November promotions.

01Before / after
From a sign
to a symbol.
The old mark was a yellow brush script: friendly, but it said nothing about singing and blurred at small sizes. The new one sets the name in a round, open sans and adds what the club never had — a symbol that works on its own, on a cup, a blade sign or a screen.

02Construction
Goose, plus music,
equals one stroke.
The presentation put it as a sum: goose plus music. The neck rises as the stem of a note, the body closes into its head, the tail cuts a single triangle and a small crown sits on top. One continuous shape, legible at any size.
- 1The neck · a note’s stem
- 2The body · the note head, two circles
- 3The tail · one sharp triangle
- 4The head · a small crown
03Colour
Gold for the lounge,
neon for the night.
The mark comes in two finishes. Gold, champagne running to old brass, for print, foil and signs; a cyan-to-magenta gradient — the colour of the rooms after dark — for screens and merchandise. Where only one colour will do, black or white.

Mirrors, marble,

04Promotions
Two weekends
in November.
The new mark went straight to work: Double 11, 11–14 November 2021, and Black Friday, 26–29 November. The originals packed offers, prices, a map and contact details onto one phone-sized sheet. Re-set here with only what matters — the dates, the night and the goose.
