00The clinic

Ever Beauty Aesthetic Clinic is a medical aesthetics clinic in Scarborough, Toronto. Through 2022 and 2023 the studio made almost everything it printed: membership and trial cards, business cards, opening and seasonal posters, in-clinic roll-ups and screens, flyers, stickers, a shopping bag and tissue packs. Every piece speaks the same way — white marble underneath, champagne gold at the edges, one line-drawn flower in the corner.

01The mark

One dry stroke,
closing on itself.

The clinic’s mark is a single dry-brushed ring of gold: heavy where the brush lands, breaking apart where it lifts. Three lines sit beside it — EVER BEAUTY in wide-set capitals, AESTHETIC CLINIC in a geometric sans, and the Chinese name — to make the horizontal logo. Every piece takes its colour from that gold, a gradient from deep to pale, set against white marble.

02The cards

One marble card,
a different name.

The student card, the mother’s card and the free VISIA skin-analysis card share one face: marble, a gold frame, a line-drawn flower top right, the logo top left — only the name changes. The detail goes on the back, like the skin-analysis card’s “autumn–winter skin analysis, November to March”. On the printed cards a gold band across the lower half carried the phone number, QR codes and address; here it is replaced by a hairline and the card’s name in English.

03Campaigns

“You’re beautiful” —
set in the same gold.

Posters, roll-ups, in-clinic screens and flyers are all set in this gold. The university flyer leads with two lines of Chinese and one of English capitals — “你好看,所以被看好”, YOU’RE BEAUTIFUL. Most of these pieces are built on stock model photographs, treatments and prices, so this page keeps only the headline.

The cards come from the clinic’s print files. On the printed cards a gold band across the lower half carried the clinic’s phone number, QR codes and address; this page removes the band, fills the marble back in and adds a hairline and the card’s name in English — a re-set made for this page, not the card as printed. The clinic’s posters, roll-ups, screens and flyers are built on stock model photographs, treatments and prices, so only the headline of the university flyer is shown. The origin of the marble texture and the engraved flower on the cards is not recorded and they look like stock artwork, so they appear only as part of the cards, never enlarged on their own. The logo files came from the clinic and the archive does not show who drew the mark; the cards, flyers and the rest of the material are the studio’s.
