CPR In London teaches first aid and CPR in London, Ontario: Standard and Emergency First Aid with Level C CPR and AED, Basic Life Support for healthcare providers, and N95 mask fit testing. In 2023 the studio designed the things a course runs on: the cover and back of the manual each participant holds, the wallet card they leave with, and the business card.

01Mark & colour
A red cross,
and an address.
The client’s mark is its web address: a rescuer and patient inside a red cross, ringed by two arcs, beside a condensed cprinlondon.ca with the “in” picked out in blush. We left the mark as it was, took three colours from it — first-aid red, blush and near-black — and gave each course a plain icon. Every piece starts there.

02Course manual
A cover that says
what the course is.
Each participant gets a printed manual; the studio designed its cover and back. The front carries the mark, the line “Learn CPR. An easy way to save a life.” and the three families of course. The back says what a class is like and what each course covers. Re-set here from the original files, without the third-party accreditation strip and contact details; where the originals used a stock photograph, the red cross from the mark stands in.
03Cards
Small enough for a wallet,
clear enough to check.
Participants leave with a card the size of a business card: the completed course ticked, the date, expiry and instructor number filled in. Two versions cover different courses. The business card uses the same band of red to set out the three services in a row.
