Caroline Bi is a mortgage agent with MRD Financial (决胜金融). In 2023 the studio designed her roll-up banner — three layouts, the third of which became the print file — and a mortgage poster in the same black and gold. Both have one job: say what she does and which loans she arranges, in two languages, clearly enough to read from a few steps away.

01The poster
One word in gold,
one line to tie it.
The poster says one thing: mortgages. The English word leads in capitals, the Chinese follows, the four loan types take two lines, and the rest of the sheet is given to a single gold arc that carries the eye from the headline down to the ring.

02The banner
Eighty inches,
laid out three times.
A roll-up banner is read top to bottom, usually in passing. The first layout opened on a gold diagonal; the second put the person in the middle; the third became the print file — desk photograph and MRD mark at the top, then her name on a gold band, the offer, the four loans, and contact details last.

03Material
Brass, not yellow.
Black, not grey.
The gold is a dark–light–dark gradient, like brushed brass, used for bands, rules and headlines; small type that has to carry at a distance stays white. A faint hexagon grid sits on the black so large areas never go flat.
