Bubbles & Bark is a logo concept for a pet groomer: round, slightly bouncy lettering beside a paw print, and inside the pad of the paw, a small dog in a tub full of bubbles. Two colours carry everything — marigold and a deep chocolate brown — with bones and paws scattered into a pattern.

01The mark
Look inside the paw.
There’s a dog in the tub.
The pad of the paw is cut away to show a small dog, chin up, sitting in a tub foaming with bubbles — the name, drawn. The lettering stacks beside it in two words with soft corners and letters that bob up and down, and PET GROOMING runs underneath in widely spaced capitals.
02Colour
Two colours,
either way round.
Marigold and chocolate swap places without the logo changing: brown on marigold for signs and social posts, marigold on brown for cards and anything dark. On white, the lettering goes brown and the paw marigold.

03Pattern
Bones and paws,
tossed in a heap.
Solid bones, outlined bones and paw prints, tossed at loose angles, make the pattern. It can run along the bottom edge of a layout or cover a whole surface, like the back of the card.
04Business card
One side for the name,
one side all pattern.
Both sides are brown: the back is covered in marigold pattern, the front carries only the logo. The contact lines from the original are not shown here.
05Tote
After the bath,
treats for the road.
In the original set, the marigold logo sat on a black tote. It is redrawn flat here and put back into the set’s composition: a marigold ground with a row of bones and paws underfoot.
