A-Z Insurance is a brokerage in Markham, Ontario — auto, home, commercial and travel cover, for clients in English and in Chinese. We designed its logo and guideline in 2022, and since 2023 have worked for it month by month: flyers, posters, partner campaigns. The mark grew with it. Logo 2.0 put the symbol in a box; in 2026 it went up over the door and onto a membership card.

01The mark2022

One triangle, two cuts:
read it as A, or as Z.

The symbol is a triangle cut by two diagonal slits: the point of an A at the top, the stroke of a Z folding through it. The 2022 guideline set out vertical, horizontal and glyph-only versions in English and Chinese, their clear space, a navy-to-green gradient, and solid versions on white, blue and green.

Put in a box,
it holds at any size.

Delivered at the end of 2023, version 2.0 dropped the gradient for one green and set the symbol in a solid square that holds up on an avatar, a card or a window. The wordmark got heavier, with INSURANCE and 安众保险 stacked beside A-Z, plus English-only, white and black versions.

03The storefront2026

One sign,
four words of business.

A 72 × 30 inch storefront sign: the lockup above, and a green band below naming Home, Auto, Travel and Commercial, each with a line icon. Someone walking past knows what the office does without stepping in. The same file comes in a version on green.

04VIP card2026

The front says who.
The back says what.

The front carries only the lockup, the card’s name and a member number, its green sinking from a lit corner into shadow under a fine grain. The reverse lists the four lines of cover, three member benefits and the terms, English and Chinese line by line. Re-set here from the original file.

The logo, guideline, Logo 2.0, sign, VIP card and campaign pieces are the studio’s. The card is re-set here from the original artwork, not photographed, and the opening image is composed from the Logo 2.0 vector files. The campaign posters and flyers are built around stock photographs or AI illustrations, and the foliage on the 2024 Logo 2.0 cover is a stock photograph; none of these are shown here.
