Ten years,
written as one numeral.

- Ten years of a public–private partnership

- 2023
In 2023 the partnership between Ace Acumen Academy and St. Clair College turned ten. The anniversary mark had to hold both schools — a shield crest and a golden griffin — without letting either outrank the other. We put them inside one numeral, half each.

01Directions
Five ways to write ten,
one to keep.
The early files hold five directions: a gradient ring, type running through the figure, an italic band, a flat “10 years”, and a stacked numeral with both emblems inside it. The first ones either celebrate the number alone or line the two schools up side by side; the last gives each emblem half of the figure, and the final mark grew from it.
The first four were not taken up. The fifth, in a brighter blue with a tighter type band, became the mark.
02The mark
Blue above,
green below.
The 1 and the 0 break at the type line. The upper half is blue and holds the Ace Acumen crest in its counter; the lower half is green and holds St. Clair’s golden griffin. ANNIVERSARY in blue italic and CELEBRATION in gold upright run across the break and tie the halves back into one figure.
- The Ace Acumen Academy crest, in the upper counter
- The type band: ANNIVERSARY in blue italic, CELEBRATION in gold upright
- The St. Clair College griffin, in the lower counter
- The numeral breaks at the band: blue above, green below
- The superscript TH, in the same blue

03Versions
Recognisable
on any ground.
The files went out in full colour and one colour, each as AI, SVG, PDF, PNG and JPG. Where a ground fights the colours, or a job prints in a single ink, the one-colour version takes over.
04In use
Down to an avatar,
still standing.
A seven-page logo guide covers the signature, the icon, round and square social avatars and the one-colour version, so either school’s team can see which file belongs where.
